I’m one of those bizarre people who goes out of their way to twist expectations to mean something that they don’t.
My interpretation: Stealthy or one of the other dwarves (possibly a particularly badass one) has a MAJOR crush on Belle, though she’s too in love with Rumpelstiltskin to notice the newcomer’s affection.
I WILL NOT GET MY HOPES UP FOR MORE RUMBELLE. IT HURTS TOO MUCH TT_TT
